The first sentence from each chapter of The Shifter Romances the Writer, it's a mini summary of what you can expect to read.

“Buying a home on her own was the most wonderful, frightening thing Roxy St. James had ever done.”

“Roxy loved her house.”

“You sure I’m not interrupting anything?”

“Roxy was about to head to her office with the intention of making some headway on the new book when she remembered the card Alex had brought over.”

“Alex had already reminded himself three times that lunch with Roxy was just his way of repaying her for the speeding ticket.
